Life Sciences Future ConferenceWe are thrilled to be selected by Life Sciences Pennyslvania and sponsored by EisnerAmper to present at the Life Sciences Future conference in September 2024. It was an excellent opportunity for us to provide an overview of Cerespectus™ and its novel technology. Two days of wide ranging and insightful sessions were energizing and purposeful.
Acceptance into the Penn Health-Tech AcceleratorCerespectus™ has been selected to participate in the Penn Health-Tech Accelerator’s 2024-2025 cohort to develop and derisk its novel and platform catheter technology further. We look forward to the grant funding and working closely with Penn Health-Tech team and other resources from the University of Pennsylvania to make significant progress.
Advocacy Day at the State Capital of PennsylvaniaIn April 2024, Kamna Giare-Patel, CEO of Cerespectus™ had an insightful experience while visiting the Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg for Advocacy Day, sponsored by Life Sciences Pennsylvania. Thank you to Kurt Imhof and the LSPA team for leading the initiative! It was an excellent opportunity to speak about Cerespectus’ technology with legislators, advocate for innovation policies, and meet leaders from other organizations.

NSF Regional I-Corp Program CompletionIn August 2024, Cerespectus™ completed the NSF Regional I-Corps Program, executing customer discovery interviews with 17+ neurosurgeons, interventional radiologists, neurologists, procurement, and healthcare executives to enhance the unmet clinical needs and optimize the value proposition for our technology for safe and effective therapy delivery in the central nervous system.
Inaugural Venturium Academic Venture ShowcaseCerespectus™ was thrilled to present at the Venturium'24: Academic Venture Showcase in May 2024. At this impactful event, academic spinouts from a consortium of leading universities presented their innovative products built on the university’s intellectual property. At this virtual event, various startups presented their innovations to the audience of investors, accelerators, incubators, industry partners, and entrepreneurs.
PCI Ventures @ Pennovation Works ShowcaseKamna Giare-Patel, CEO of Cerespectus™ was invited to present at the annual PCI Ventures @ Pennovation Works Showcase event in November 2023. It was a pleasure to provide an overview of Cerespectus™ and highlight our novel technology. The event was insightful and included the opportunity to interact with other innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, clinicians, faculty, and students.
Dr. Bryan Pukenas started this pioneering journey with a vision to create a safer and more reliable delivery method for gene therapy to the central nervous system. Cerespectus’ Esperanza catheter delivery system is a platform technology, consisting of a multi-lumen catheter with a visual navigation system. This allows for the real-time view of brain and spine anatomy for targeted gene therapy treatment of neurological disorders. |
